Mr. James L. Jehn, CPG: Mr. Jehn is the president of Jehn Water Consultants and has over 30 years experience as a hydrogeologist in Colorado. Mr. Jehn has managed and supervised numerous projects involving water resource planning. Mr. Jehn's expertise includes: ground water evaluation studies; environmental evaluations; surface and ground water rights studies, including Plans for Augmentation; temporary substitute supply plans, and surface water hydrology studies; aquifer and pump test analyses; monitor well and water well design, construction and testing; pump/motor/control design, specification preparation and installation for large municipal and domestic water supply wells, and computer modeling. Mr. Jehn has appeared as an expert witness in over 70 cases involving water rights, ground water modeling and geophysical logging. Mr. Jehn is skilled in working with multi-disciplinary, long-term water resource teams.
Ms. Gina Burke, C.G.W.P.: Ms. Burke is the vice president of Jehn Water Consultants and has over 15 years experience as a hydrologist and senior project manager. Ms. Burke specializes in ground water and surface water rights, hydrogeologic studies, ground water and surface water modeling, augmentation plans, replacement plans, substitute water supply plans, water storage analyses for firm yield supplies, water supply planning, and dewatering studies. Ms. Burke has extensive experience providing technical assistance for water rights applications and in water court cases including expert testimony in augmentation and ground water monitoring matters. Additional experience includes the valuations of surface and ground water rights, and water rights accounting. Ms. Burke also has a great deal of modeling experience including the modeling of ground water and surface water systems, dewatering, and aquifer storage and recovery. Ms. Burke also has experience in the design and construction management of ground water and monitoring wells.
Mr. Kevin C. Donegan: Mr. Donegan joined Jehn Water Consultants in March 2008. A May 2007 graduate of Hamilton College with a concentration in Geology, Mr. Donegan has pursued many projects that combine geographic information systems (GIS) with hydrogeology. These include using a GIS-based numerical model to estimate ground water recharge, creating ground water vulnerability/aquifer sensitivity maps, and using GIS analyses to evaluate the potential for artificial recharge projects within the Upper Black Squirrel Creek alluvial aquifer. As a Geologist/GIS Analyst with Jehn Water, Mr. Donegan creates maps, performs geographic analyses, and conducts field operations that include ground water level monitoring, surface water discharge measurements, water quality sampling, and supervising well drilling, development and pump installation.
